Biography
Dr. Evan Lieberman was born in New York City and raised in Atlanta, Georgia resulting in a case of culture shock from which he still has not quite recovered. After playing bass in a wide variety of musical ensembles ranging from rock and jazz bands to symphony orchestras in high school, he attended the Henry Grady School of Journalism at University of Georgia where he majored in being a rock musician. Upon realizing that this major was not being officially offered he settled on Radio-TV-Film Journalism, though his band The Little Tigers released a critically acclaimed single and toured the east coast of the United States. He enjoyed touring so much that upon returning to Athens, GA he applied for film school at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles where he earned a Masters degree in screenwriting. Evan spent the next five years in LA producing and directing award winning educational documentaries for Churchill Films, as well as writing screenplays for an array of international production companies including TV-Ontario, Trans World Entertainment, producer Ed Rothkowitz, and CFC, one of the leading French film studios
