Biography
After two years of teaching college English in China, Dr. Liu attended graduate school and earned her Ph.D in Educational Psychology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During 2006-2008, she worked as research assistant professor at the Center for Research and Evaluation, University of Maine. She joined the CSU faculty in 2008 and has taught undergraduate and graduate students educational psychology. Dr. Liu has worked as co-PI and program evaluator for multiple research projects funded by Department of Education, National Science Foundation, etc. Most recently she received the Teaching Enhancement Award from the Center for Teaching Excellence at CSU. Her research interests include: computer-supported collaborative learning, peer assessment, motivation, and self-regulated learning strategies.
