Biography

Ms. Kristin Goodale serves as a General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Foundation Benefits Administrators, Inc. Ms. Goodale serves as a Corporate Secretary at The Boon Group, Inc. and has been its General Counsel since joining in July 1999. She is the senior executive responsible for all legal affairs of The Boon Group subsidiaries and FBA. Her responsibilities include all legal matters of a general corporate nature, reviewing and negotiating contracts and agreements; managing outside legal counsel; advising senior management on a wide range of business, labor and employment, and regulatory issues including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA and state insurance laws and regulations; preparing and/or reviewing documents and printed materials related to products and plans; interfacing with insurers on regulatory matters as they pertain to policies administered by CEBA and FBA, as well as interfacing with the Department of Labor, the state Departments of Insurance, and Medicare Secondary Payor entities; preparing custom plan documents and Summary Plan Descriptions for self-funded plans, as well as all HIPAA compliant policies and procedures for such funds; developing Trust documents and Administrative Service Agreements; serving as the HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer; and, maintaining licenses on a nationwide basis for all The Boon Group entities, FBA, and all personnel whose activities require licenses as well as tracking licenses for independent brokers. Ms. Goodale serves as a Board Member of The Boon Group, Inc. and Foundation Benefits Administrators, Inc.
