J. Kelly Ganjei

Biography

Mr. J. Kelly Ganjei has been the Chief Executive Officer at Cognate BioServices, Inc. since 2011. Mr. Ganjei co-founded Remegenix Inc in 2006 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer, President and Director. He began his career at NIH in May 1995. He served as Vice President of Business Development and Director of Business Development of TissueGene, Inc. He has over 20 years of experience within the life science, venture capital and IT sectors and has lead companies through various stages of development ranging from the virtual start-up, to the mid-cap restart, through the exponential growth phase, and ultimately into a public exit. He has led a number of regenerative medicine technologies in various stages of development throughout his career, and has a track record of putting together innovative relationships across the world including the UK, South Korea, Italy, Finland, New Zealand and Australia. He has been working with TissueGene since 2001. He served as the Global Informatics Product Marketing and Business Development Manager for LabVantage Solution. His responsibilities ranged from software architecture design to initiating and managing strategic relationships with potential business partners and ß-sites around the world. He continues to study in the fields of enterprise infrastructure design, bioinformatics, and business. Mr. Ganjei received his B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Maryland College Park in 1995.
