Michael Hagerman

Biography

Michael G. Hagerman is an accomplished entrepreneur, with more than 40 years experience advancing the growth of businesses in multiple industries. He has significant experience working with management to differentiate their company in the marketplace, with the goal of becoming an industry leader and enhancing shareholder value. Mr. Hagerman has founded and held CEO and senior leadership positions for a wide range of companies. Currently, Mr. Hagerman is a Partner with ACT Medical Solutions Inc., a company he co-founded to offer world-class medical diagnostic testing from leading labs around the world. He also serves as the Managing Director of the Personalized Medicine and Targeted Therapies Project, a foundation focused on translating new discoveries into medical tools and techniques for early, precise diagnoses. Additionally, Mr. Hagerman is the President of DirectorsEdge Inc., which is dedicated to ensuring “best practices” on Corporate Boards. Mr. Hagerman’s career is further highlighted by his current and prior Board positions. Presently, Mr. Hagerman is a member of the Board of InvestX Capital, Ltd., a crowdfunding platform where investors can participate alongside private equity firms in private transactions. Previously, Mr. Hagerman served as Chairman of the Board for Bardel Entertainment, children’s animation firm, and was the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Subserveo, Inc., which provides automated post trade surveillance and risk solutions to retail and institutional broker-dealers, as well as wealth management and RIA firms. Mr. Hagerman holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
