Patrick O’brien

Biography

Patrick O’Brien is our Senior Vice President, Investor Relations. Prior to joining Coherus in 2016, Mr. O’Brien spent over nine years at Gilead Sciences, Inc. where, as Vice President of IR, he led the #1 ranked team by both buy-side and sell-side analysts in the healthcare / biotechnology category for 2014, 2015 and 2016. Additionally, he ranked as the #1 IR professional in the biotechnology categories in Institutional Investor Magazine for both the buy-side and sell-side for 2014, 2015 and 2016. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. O’Brien was Executive Director of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations at Avanir Pharmaceuticals, a Biotechnology company focused on central nervous system disorders. Prior to that he served as Senior Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Connetics Corporation from 2004 to 2005, and as Manager of Investor Relations and Treasury at Allergan from 2002 to 2004. He began his professional career as an Investment Banking Associate at Merrill Lynch & Co. and A.G. Edwards & Sons. Mr. O’Brien has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern, and a BBA from Loyola University Chicago.
