Ian M. Cook

Biography

 Mr. Ian M. Cook has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Colgate-Palmolive Co. since July 1, 2007 and July 2005 Respectively. Mr. Cook is responsible for all Colgate's businesses, except Latin America and Hill's. He is also responsible for Colgate's most competitive businesses in North America and Europe, Asia, Central Europe and Africa. He served as an Executive Vice President of Colgate-Palmolive Co. from October 2002 to September 30, 2005 and its Chief Operating Officer since July 9, 2004. Mr. Cook served as the Executive vice President of Colgate North America of Colgate-Palmolive Company until September 30, 2005 and also served as its Executive Vice President from October 2002 to September 30, 2005. He joined Colgate in the United Kingdom in 1976 and served a series of senior management roles around the world. He has been the Chairman of Colgate-Palmolive Co. and Colgate-Palmolive Canada Inc. since January 1, 2009. Mr. Cook has been an Independent Director of Colgate-Palmolive Co. since July 1, 2007. He has been an Independent Director of Pepsico, Inc. since March 14, 2008 and serves as its Presiding Director. He serves as a Director of Catalyst Inc. Mr. Cook is a graduate of London University (Guildhall).
