Biography
His work in engineering to support construction operations and temporary works has developed into a major practice area at Collins. As Senior Vice President and Structural Engineer, Mike is engaged in staff development, project work, business development, and work on various technical committees. M.S.C.E., Structures, Purdue University B.S.C.E., Purdue University In addition to preparing technical articles and presentations, Mike has been a contributing author for various national engineering guides, recommended practices, design specifications, and manuals. A certified instructor for the National Highway Institute, Mike has developed and taught courses on structure inspection, repair, and erection engineering. He has also lectured at universities and developed a manual and course on steel sheet piling design for university professors.
