Biography
Dr. Apsara Prasad began practicing at Digestive Health Specialists in the fall of 2015 coming from practice in Maryland. We are very fortunate to have Dr. Prasad join us with her outstanding expertise in Gastroenterology! She received her Doctorate of Medicine and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Debrecen Medical and Health Science Center. She then completed her Residency and Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. There she was awarded Resident of the Year and was a Keynote speaker at Residency Graduation.
Research Interest
IBS, Celiac disease, Pancreatitis, and Peptic Ulcer disease.
