Biography

Dr. Ennis received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. He remained at UCSD to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine. He has served as Vice Chief and Chief of Medicine as well as a Member at Large of the Medical Executive Committee. He served as Chair of the Physicians Education Committee and continues to service on the Medicine Quality Enhancement Committee. Dr. Ennis' interests in gastroenterology include endoscopic management of gastrointestinal hemorrhage, inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology, and celiac disease.
