Fabio Cappuccini

Biography

Dr. Cappuccini’s practice is focused exclusively in the highly specialized field of gynecologic oncology and pelvic surgery. He treats all gynecologic cancers with a particular interest in ovarian cancer and Phase I and II clinical trials. His practice philosophy has everything to do with trust, encouragement and recognizing that the women he treats have families, social lives and careers. He believes the best care is given when all these things are carefully considered. Throughout his career, Dr. Cappuccini has delivered leading-edge care. He was a pioneer in early immunotherapy research for ovarian cancer and the treatment pathways of cervical cancer. He was also one of first surgeons to employ advanced ovarian cancer debulking surgery incorporating the upper abdomen. In his spare time, Dr. Cappuccini enjoys art, classical music and sailing.
