John Giglietta

Biography

John was born in Bayside, Queens at a time when the Mets were still contenders. Growing up in a rough neighborhood was scary at times, but it also taught John that people are inherently good by nature and you can’t let a few bad experiences ruin your outlook on life. This philosophy continues to shape his life and leadership style. After graduating from St. John’s University with a degree in pharmacology, John worked for a time as a pharmacist. While it was rewarding to provide healthcare services to the community, he also felt a desire to pursue a career in business and sales. John joined CompHealth in 2000 because it provided a perfect way to bridge the gap between contributing to the healthcare world while also developing his business skills. Because of John’s diverse life experiences, he has a gift for empathizing with and taking care of the people he manages. ​Outside of work, John puts the most value on spending time with his family. He’s an avid golfer and loves to snowmobile. His love for cooking (grilling and smoking) is due to his passion for eating. John’s retirement dreams are also tied to food—he’d like to live on a beach somewhere and run a hotdog stand.​
