Biography
Melissa is passionate about the people of CompHealth and proudly considers each one to be family. As president of our locum tenens division, Melissa bases much of her leadership style on multitasking skills learned from her grandma. She was raised by her grandparents, and has​ always respected the way her grandmother balanced her role as a business leader while raising 7 children and 13 foster children. Melissa believes in the power of growth and development, and strives to create a supportive environment where her teammates can reach their full potential. Melissa holds an economics degree from Weber State University. She joined the CompHealth team as a recruiter in 1997. Serving in various roles in the company over the years, Melissa has gained a strong belief in the positive impact locum tenens brings to communities around the nation. She now serves on the board of the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations (NALTO) and works tirelessly to promote locum tenens as a beneficial healthcare solution. Melissa’s obsessed with breakfast, especially when traveling. She loves to seek out the most delicious morning menu items in whatever city she is visiting.​
