Sandra M. Raehl

Biography

As a figure skater in her youth, Sandra learned discipline, time management, and dedication. She retired from competition following high school and pursued an education degree from Michigan State University. The next 15 years were spent coaching skaters and Sandra’s teams experienced great success, even reaching nationals. Eager to apply her coaching and development skills in a business setting, Sandra joined CompHealth in 1994. As division president she focuses on growing each member of her team. She often draws upon the lessons learned from one of her early skating coaches, who always found positives in a situation. When Sandra would fall, her coach would emphasize the good and give clear instructions for improvement. Sandra employs this same style of leadership, bringing strong camaraderie to her teams.   Though she no longer coaches skaters, Sandra still feels the allure of the rink and enjoys ice dancing in her spare time. She also loves spending quality time with her family, often at their cottage in the lake country of northern Michigan.​
