Biography
Mr. Christopher O’Malley, also known as Chris, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Compuware Corporation. Mr. O’Malley served as the President of Mainframe Operations at Compuware Corporation., since July 21,2014. Mr. O’Malley served as Chief Executive Officer of VelociData, Inc. Mr. O’Malley served as the Chief Executive Officer of Nimsoft, Inc. He served as General Manager of Growth Markets CSU at CA Technologies. Mr. O'Malley served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Growth Enterprises of CA Technologies ( CA, Inc). Mr. O’Malley served as an Executive Vice President of Cloud Products & Solutions Business Line of CA, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry. He held sales and management positions at Applied Data Research, Inc. He served as a Executive Vice President of Mainframe Business Unit for CA Technologies. Mr. O'Malley served as General Manager of Mainframe Business Unit for CA, Inc. Mr. O'Malley served as senior vice president of sales strategy and execution and senior vice president of sales at CA Technologies responsible developing and implementing competitive market strategies for CA’s worldwide sales force and for the Midwest and Canada for CA. He held several other senior management positions since joining CA in 1988 with its acquisition of ADR, including the Sales Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Midwest and Canada. He has been a Director of YJT Solutions, LLC since September 2012. He serves as a Director of Bluenog Corp. He serves as a Director of VelociData, Inc. until December 18th 2015. He founded the O'Malley Foundation and serves as its Board Member. He is a sought-after speaker at industry events such as the SHARE Conference for Enterprise IT Professionals, where he delivered a keynote address, and at colleges and universities around the world, where he talks to students about career opportunities in Information Technology. He participated in executive programs at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business and New York University's Stern School of Business. Mr. O’Malley graduated from the University of Minnesota with honors with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Computer Science.
