Biography
Mr. Connolly has over 16 years of experience in foundation design, and superstructure (structural) design. His responsibilities spanning those years include contract preparations, structural inspections, project design, client presentations, project coordination, cost control & estimating, quality control, scheduling and staffing. Daniel also designs and reviews all aspects of the firms’ seismic, wind and underpinning designs. Daniel has worked on various building types throughout the Northeast and the US Virgin Islands, including educational facilities, hotels, multi-family residential projects, financial institutions, office buildings and hospitals. His duties as principal include preparation of structural schematics, design development / construction documents, specification writing and construction administration services including bidding document review, site meetings, structural site inspections, structural shop drawing review. Daniel’s expertise ranges from superstructure design, structural building modeling, foundation design and structural evaluation of existing building structures.
