Biography
Mr. Batchelder, 69, retired in 2012 as the Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at ConocoPhillips, an integrated global energy company. In this role, from 2009 until his retirement, he was responsible for global shared services, human resources, facilities, information technology, security, aviation, executive services, and corporate affairs, which included investor relations, corporate communications and contributions. Mr. Batchelder served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of ConocoPhillips from 2002 to 2009. Prior to the merger of Conoco and Phillips Petroleum in 2002, Mr. Batchelder was promoted to increasingly senior positions within Phillips Petroleum companies, including information technology and financial management positions. Mr. Batchelder is a director of Laurel's Army Foundation, a past trustee and current governor of the Oklahoma State University Foundation, and past president and board member of the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association. Mr. Batchelder holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University, is a certified public accountant (inactive) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
