Biography
Mr. Paul J. Fribourg has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Continental Grain Company Corp. since 1976. Mr. Fribourg served numerous positions with Continental Grain Company Corp., including President, Chief Operating Officer, Merchandiser and Product Line Manager from 1994 to 1997. Previously, from April 1990 to June 1994, he served as an Executive Vice President at the Bulk Commodities Group of ContiGroup. Previously, from 1980 to 1985, Mr. Fribourg served as General Manager for Continental Grain's European operations and also held various merchandising and management positions in Continental Grain domestically from 1976 to 1980. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of the Commodity Marketing Group and Group President at World Grain from 1985 to 1997. Mr. Fribourg serves as a Board Member of the Rabobank International North American Agribusiness Advisory Board, the New York University Mitchell Jacobson Leadership Program in Law and Business Advisory Board and Endeavor Global Inc. He has been a Lead Director of Loews Corporation since October 1997. Mr. Fribourg has been a Director of Wayne Farms, Inc. since March 2015 and ContiFinancial Corporation since October 1995. He has been Independent Director of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. since April 2006. He has been a Director at Murphy-Brown of Missouri, LLC since May 1998 and Contitrade Services Corp. since October 1995. He has been Independent Director at Apollo Global Management, LLC since 2011. Mr. Fribourg has been Independent Director of Restaurant Brands International Limited Partnership since December 12, 2014, Castleton Commodities International LLC and The Estee Lauder Companies, Inc since April 2006. He serves as a Director of Apollo Management, L.P. and Burger King Holdings, Inc from October 2010 to December 2014. Mr. Fribourg serves as a Director of Browning School, Harvard Business School, Nightingale-Bamford School, the YMCA of Greater New York, Appeal of Conscience Foundation, Lauder Institute/Wharton Business School, Park East Synagogue, America-China Society and Public Theater. Previously, he served as a Director of Wayne Farms LLC since 2011. He served as a Director of Restaurant Brands International Inc. from October 2010 to December 12, 2014. He served as a Director of Burger King Worldwide, Inc. from October 2010 to December 2014. Previously, he served as Director of Premium Standard Farms Inc. since May 1998 until April 2007. Previously, Mr. Fribourg served as an Independent Director of Carolina Group since 1997 and also served as its Presiding Director. Previously, he also served as a Director of Power Corporation of Canada from May 10, 2005 to May 9, 2008 and Smithfield Foods Inc. from May 7, 2007 to September 14, 2009. Previously, Mr. Fribourg served as Member of the Supervisory Board of Vivendi Société Anonyme from April 28, 2005 to June 7, 2006 and its Director since January 2003. Previously, he served as a Director of Wind International, Inc since June 1999 and Wyndham International Inc., since June 1999. Mr. Fribourg serves as a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the National Advisory Board of JPMorgan Chase. He completed the Advanced Management Degree at Harvard Business School and received a B.A. in Business Administration and Economics from Amherst College. Mr. Fribourg has a Graduate Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
