Sue Sommer

Biography

Sue Sommer joined Cordant as president and CEO in April 2012 and brings more than two decades of medical industry leadership experience to the company. Prior to joining Cordant, Sommer held two vice president positions with UnitedHealth Group®, one as vice president of Intersegment Management and the other as vice president of Medicare Solutions. She also has extensive leadership experience in the pharmacy space, leading a $5B Managed Care division for Express Scripts®, the largest pharmacy benefit management company in the United States. In that role, she led the home infusion and specialty distribution subsidiary businesses as well as the integration and strategy for the specialty pharmacy business. Sommer is a registered nurse and served at the BJC Hospital network in St. Louis, MO. She also received her MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
