Barton M. Burstein

Biography

Mr. Barton M. Burstein, also known as Bart, served as Senior Vice President of Field Operations & Business Development at Ruckus Wireless, Inc. since 2011 until November 9, 2015 and served as its Vice President of Product Management and Business Development since 2011. Mr. Burstein serves as consultant to several Silicon Valley, Canadian and European startup companies. He has over 20 years of experience in strategic development and business operations of high technology companies. He served as Vice President Operations and Asia Pacific of Ruckus Wireless, Inc. He served as Vice President, Business Development of Nortel Networks. Previously, he served as Vice President, Business Development of Nortel's Intelligent Internet Business Unit of Alteon WebSystems, Inc. since August 1998 and has served at Alteon WebSystems, Inc. since January 1997. From January 1995 to January 1997, Mr. Burstein worked at Bay Networks in a variety of positions, including Director of Advanced Technology Sales/ICON. From 1985 to 1994, Mr. Burstein worked at UB Networks, Inc., a networking company, in a variety of positions, including Director of Latin America and Asia Sales. Mr. Burstein has held a number of senior management positions with a variety of fast growing companies including Maspar Corporation and Evans & Sutherland Computer Corporation. He serves as the Director of Tail-f Systems AB. He has been Member of Advisory Board of Core Mobility, Inc. since 2002. He served as a Director of Ruckus Wireless, Inc. since November 9, 2015 until May 27, 2016. Mr. Burstein received executive training at the Wharton School and holds a B.A. from Antioch College and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
