Donald W. Blair

Biography

 Mr. Donald W. Blair, also known as Don, has been a Director of Corning Incorporated since July 15, 2014. Mr. Blair served as the Chief Financial Officer of Nike, Inc. from 1999 to July 31, 2015 and also served as its Executive Vice President from 1999 to October 2015. He has proven experience in developing and implementing strategies for delivering sustainable, profitable growth. He has 35 years of financial expertise and management experience at the international, operational and corporate levels. His responsibilities included accounting and reporting, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, treasury and foreign exchange management, tax planning and compliance, risk management, internal audits and investor relations. Mr. Blair served as a Vice President of Nike, Inc., since 1999. He served as Principal Accounting Officer of Nike, Inc. until September 21, 2008. He joined Nike, Inc. in November 1999. He served for 15 years in the financial management positions with PepsiCo, Inc., as Vice President of Finance for Pepsi-Cola Asia, Vice President of Planning for PepsiCo's Pizza Hut Division and spent 6 years in Asia, first as finance director for Pepsi-Cola Japan and Senior Vice President of Finance of The Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc. He began his career in 1981 as an Accountant with Deloitte Haskins & Sells in New York City. Mr. Blair holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980, an M.B.A from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1981 and a Certified Public Accountant certification from New York in 1982.
