Biography
Mr. John M. Hennessy serves as Senior Advisor of Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Hennessy served as Managing Director of First Boston Corporation since 1974 and served as Assistant Secretary of its U.S. Treasury (Presidential appointment). He served as Group Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse First Boston and served as its Chairman of the Executive board since 1989. He served as the Chairman of Credit Suisse Private Equity, LLC. He also served as Chairman at Credit Suisse First Boston Equity Partners, L.P. He serves on seven non-profit boards of Directors, including the Twin Towers Fund. He has been Honorary Director Emeritus of Corning Incorporated since April 2008. He served as a Director of Dow Corning Corporation. He served as a Director of Corning Incorporated from 1989 to April 24, 2008.
