Biography
Brendan Curran was appointed President of Crane Aerospace & Electronics in February 2015, after serving as President of the Aerospace Group since June 2013.. As president, Curran is responsible for all Aerospace and Electronics product solutions, including fluid management, landing gear systems, cabin systems, sensing components and systems, power systems, and microwave systems. He is located in Lynnwood, Washington. Curran brings extensive aerospace industry experience within the aircraft system, engine and airframe segments to Crane. Prior to joining Crane, he held a number of diverse roles of increasing responsibility with United Technologies Corporation. Most recently, Curran was Vice President, Strategy, Business Development & Partnerships, for Pratt & Whitney – Commercial Engines. Prior to joining Pratt & Whitney, Brendan served in a number of executive management positions with UTC’s Hamilton Sundstrand Division. Curran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont and received his Master’s degree in International Business/Operations from the Columbia Business School in New York.
