Lee Rivenbark

Biography

Lee Rivenbark is the Head of Seeds North America for Crop Science, a Division of Bayer.  He is located at the Seeds Innovation Center in Lubbock, Texas, where he leads the Seeds business for Region North America. Lee grew up on a small row crop and cattle farm in southeast Alabama, which gave him a lifelong appreciation for production agriculture.  He graduated from Auburn University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business and Economics.  Upon graduation, he went to work with a local fertilizer dealership in his hometown and later accepted a position with the University of Georgia as a Calhoun County Extension Agent.  Lee then joined Helena Chemical Company where he held several positions in sales, retail management and product management throughout the Southeast and Midsouth.  In 1997 Lee accepted a position with Bayer and led the commercial launch of the FiberMax® cotton seed business.  Since then, he has held several positions within the company in marketing, sales management, operations and most recently as Vice President of Global Cotton.  Today, Lee serves on the Global Seeds Leadership Team (SLT), U.S. Business Management Team (USBMT) and the North American Leadership Team.
