Biography

Mr. Edgar M. Cullman, Jr., serves as a Managing Member and Managing Partner at Culbro, LLC. Mr. Cullman is a Co-Founder of Culbro, LLC. His unusual operating experience adds exceptional value to his role at Culbro, LLC. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Culbro Corporation in 1996 and as the President in 1984. Mr. Cullman was its Director since 1982. He served as President at General Cigar Holdings, Inc., since 1980 and its Chief Executive Officer since 1996; he was also its Director. Prior to April 2005, He learned cigar manufacturing at the company’s operations. He absorbed all the aspects of the cigar and tobacco business including marketing and sales. He joined General Cigar Holdings, Inc. in 1974. Mr. Cullman served as a Management Trainee at Manufacturers Hanover Bank. He worked in the United States army. Mr. Cullman serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Bacchus Capital Management. He is a member of the following boards: the Atlantic Salmon Federation and the Yale University Council. He is on the boards of The Mount Sinai Hospital, the Brain Trauma Foundation, National Board of the Smithsonian Institution, Sherman Fairchild Center for Objects Conservation of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and OSI LLC. He serves as Trustee Emeritus at The Hotchkiss School and trustee of Eisenhower Fellowships. He serves as a Director at Helix Investments Management LLP. He has been a Director of Griffin Industrial Realty, Inc. since May 12, 2015. He serves as a Director of TDBBS LLC, Med Emporium LLC and LearningMate Solutions Pvt Ltd. Mr. Cullman served as Director of Doral Financial Corporation from 1988 to July 2007. He served as Director of Hi-Rel Electronics. He graduated from the Hotchkiss School in 1964 and Yale University in 1968.
