Anita M. Allemand

Biography

 Anita Allemand is Senior Vice President of Enterprise Product Innovation and Development for CVS Health. In this role, Allemand is responsible for developing and managing product strategies across the company’s pharmacy benefits management (PBM) and retail businesses. Previously, Allemand served as Vice President of PBM Product Innovation and Management and Vice President of Analytics and Outcomes. A pharmacist by background, her professional experience includes various clinical roles including managed care pharmacy at Walgreens Health Initiatives, retail pharmacy at Walgreens and hospital-based pharmacy at Sherman Hospital. Prior to her career in pharmacy she held research positions in the pharmaceutical industry in the area of drug development and testing. Allemand earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois; her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Pharmacy; and an AMCP/ASHP-accredited post-doctorate residency in managed care.
