J. David Joyner

Biography

J. David Joyner, age 53, Executive Vice President of CVS Health Corporation since March 2011 and Executive Vice President of Sales and Account Services, CVS Caremark since March 2004. He is responsible for overseeing all new and existing client relationships for CVS Health Corporation’s pharmacy benefit management business. Previously, from February 1999 until February 2004, Mr. Joyner served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Health. Mr. Joyner has served in a number of key sales and management positions for the company including Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and was responsible for overseeing all sales and account management services. Previously, Mr. Joyner was an account executive for Aetna Health Plans. Mr. Joyner earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in finance, from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and currently holds a certified employee benefit specialist (CEBS) designation.
