Arthur E. Ross

Biography

Arthur E. Ross, President/CEO Art recently served as a member of the CalPoly, San Luis Obispo, Architectural Engineering Advisory Council, consisting of individuals who are leaders in engineering and industries related to architectural engineering.  He also served as a structural engineering member of the SB588 California Community College Alternative Process.  He is Past Chairman of the DSA Advisory Board, served on the City of Sacramento Building & Fire Code Advisory and Appeals Board and on the Sacramento Builders Exchange Board of Directors.  Art was honored by ATC in 1995 for his determined and effective promotion of the need for the SAC Phase I Project to Reduce the Earthquake Hazards of Steel Moment-Resisting Frame Structures, for his dedicated service as Chair of the SAC Phase I Joint Venture Management Committee and for his significant contribution as ATC Board President.  He was involved in the ACE Mentoring Program for several years, which mentors to high school students in order to introduce them to the professions and encourage them to pursue studies and careers in these fields.
