Mr. Mark J. Ruday

Biography

Mr. Mark J. Ruday serves as Vice President of Fibers at DAK Americas LLC. Mr. Ruday serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Wellman Holdings, Inc. Mr. Ruday serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Wellman Inc., since May 2008. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Wellman since January 2008, Vice President since January 2008 and from May 2003 to February 2007 and Vice President of Business Operations from February 2007 to January 2008. He served as Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Wellman Inc., from May 2003 to February 2007. He served as Business Operations Manager of the PET Resins Division, U.S. of PPG from March 1998 to May 2003 and served as its Controller from November 1995 to March 1998. He began his career at Wellman as a Financial Analyst at the Palmetto plant in 1991, and held variety of accounting and operational positions over the years with increasing levels of responsibility. Mr. Ruday started his career as an Audit Professional at Ernst & Young. He has been a Member of the Board of Directors of Wellman since May 2008. Mr. Ruday graduated from Brown University with a dual degree in Economics and Organizational Behavior & Management and holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from Bryant College.
