Jeffrey Tooley

Biography

 Jeffrey Tooley is the Assistant General Counsel for Infogroup.  As Assistant General Counsel, Mr. Tooley manages the legal function of Infogroup by overseeing all legal initiatives and actions. As a member of the leadership team, he also provides senior management with support and advice on strategy and implementation. An Infogroup veteran, Mr. Tooley has supported and ultimately led the company’s in house counsel since 2005. During his tenure, he has provided legal guidance and support to the company in its day-to-day operations on issues such as administrative and employment-related policies and procedures, regulatory compliance and litigation strategy.  He has also supported mergers and acquisitions for the company as well as negotiations on all major database licensing agreements. In 2012, he was also appointed as Infogroup’s Corporate Secretary.   Prior to his work at Infogroup, Mr. Tooley worked at law firms in Nebraska and the District of Columbia. During this time, he handled matters pertaining to civil litigation, municipal law and antitrust litigation for both public and private companies. Mr. Tooley holds his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law.
