Biography

Ms. Elizabeth Smith serves as an Executive Vice President of Sales of Perot Systems Corporation. Ms. Smith served as Executive Vice President of Sales of Perot Systems Government Services, Inc. since October 20, 2008. She has over 25 years of experience successfully working with the U.S. federal and state governments, commercial systems integrators, and private IT firms. Prior to Perot Systems Government Services, Inc., Ms. Smith ran a private consulting practice, E. Smith Consulting, LLC, for seven years where she successfully helped both large and small Federal Service providers develop sales and business development strategies for the marketplace. She was the Lead Integration Consultant to the President's Task Force to Improve Health Care Delivery for Nation's Veterans. She worked for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) from 1994 to 2001 and served as Senior Vice President of Sales for the U.S. Federal Group from 1998 to 2001. At EDS, she led a large-scale organization that achieved tremendous sales growth under her leadership. She also dramatically improved reporting to ensure over 99 percent accuracy of data capable of being used for accurate revenue and budget projections. Prior to EDS, Ms. Smith served for eight years in a number of senior sales and management consulting positions at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc. She designed and led over 30 management consulting engagements, covering such disciplines as organizational design, business process reengineering, business case development, program evaluation, and technical architecture development for federal clients such as the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, National Institutes of Health and the Department of Treasury. She holds a bachelor's of science from Syracuse University and a master's of health sciences from Johns Hopkins University.
