Biography
Dr. Fagan attended medical school at Tufts University in Boston, and completed her internship and residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital. She attended graduate school in bioethics at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University. Dr. Fagan arrived in Madison in 1987, and is currently Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin Women's Health Center. In addition to her interest in women's health, Dr. Fagan serves on the hospital ethics committees for both the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Meriter Hospital, and is the Vice-Chair of the UW Human Subjects Committee. She teaches medical students and residents about clinical medicine and medical ethics, and lectures and leads a small group in undergraduate bioethics courses.
