Biography
Dr. Kurt Jacobson is a faculty member of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine. Prior to joining UW-Medicine, he practiced as an interventional cardiologist in Montana. Dr. Jacobson is a member of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He has served as co-director of the UW Health Hybrid Coronary Revascularization Program, as director of the UW Health Pulmonary Embolism Response Team, as a member of the Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Educational Committee, and as voting member of the UW Health Anticoagulation Committee. He has been board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, the ABIM Cardiovascular Medicine Specialty Boards, and the ABIM Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine Subspecialty Boards.
Research Interest
Dr. Jacobson's medical interests include cardiovascular medicine and internal medicine with emphasis in structural heart procedures (e.g., Amplatzer atrial septal occluders, Amplatzer ventricular septal occluders, Gore Helex septal occluder, Edwards transcatheter aortic valve, Melody Valve).
