Biography
Michael E. Field, MD, FACC, FHRS received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Johns Hopkins University. He trained in Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then took his clinical fellowships in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School. A specialist in arrhythmias, Dr. Field is the Director of Electrophysiology and the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Director at the University of Wisconsin. He is an author of the ACC/AHA Guidelines on Atrial Fibrillation published in 2014 and the SVT guidelines published 2015. He has also helped redesign the EP fellowship training curriculum as an author on the EP Advanced Training Statement from 2015.
