Biography
Leighanne McGill, PA-C, earned her Master’s of Physician Assistant Practice at Campbell University where she graduated with honors. Prior to attending PA school, she worked as a medical assistant in a dermatology office in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. It was there that McGill discovered her love for learning about skin and realized that she wanted to pursue a career in dermatology as a medical provider. McGill first moved to the Chapel Hill area to attend the University of North Carolina, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Chemistry. Her passions include all areas of medical and cosmetic dermatology. She also recognizes the importance of staying up to date with the latest technology and research in order to deliver optimal care to her patients. Leighanne believes the highest quality of care and best patient outcomes occur when patient and provider make decisions together using evidence-based methods and treatments.
