Biography
Shannon is a certified physician assistant. She received a master’s in biological sciences (immunology focused) from Clemson University in 2006 and subsequently worked in genetic research. Prior to practicing dermatology in Virginia, she practiced in North Carolina. Shannon enjoys working with patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in prevention and education of their conditions. She has experience in general dermatology and is skilled in treating various diagnoses, such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and precancerous and cancerous lesions. “I treat my patients like family; it’s hard to go wrong with that.” – Shannon Craven, MS, PA-C
