Biography
"Howard Berg established the Danforth Center’s Integrated Microscopy Facility in 2001 with the aim to provide Center scientists with the best possible instruments for imaging plant cells and understanding their cell biology. Howard came to the Danforth Center from an academic setting—he was on the Biology Department faculty at the University of Memphis for 13 years. He received his Ph.D. in agronomy from the University of Florida and his academic studies were centered on the cell biology of nitrogen fixing actinorhizal plants. He has extensive experience in both electron and confocal microscopy. "
