Biography
Adam Cheng, MD, FRCPC, FAAP, is director of research and development, KidSIM-Aspire Simulation Research Program at Alberta Children’s Hospital and associate professor, Department of Pediatrics, University of Calgary. Adam Cheng Previously worked at Alberta Children's Hospital and present as faculty in Medical and Healthcare Simulation of Drexel University College of Medicine
Research Interest
Dr. Cheng is chair and co-founder of the INSPIRE network, an international research simulation collaborative focused on improving outcomes of critically ill children. He has delivered numerous simulation- and resuscitation-related workshops and lectures, provided leadership at various national and international simulation conferences, and is an established simulation and resuscitation researcher with over 50 peer-reviewed publications and several research grants for single and multicenter research projects. He has been an author and contributor to both the PALS instructor and PALS provider manuals, and has authored several national and international acute care and resuscitation guidelines.
