Biography
Dr. Malayaman is an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. She is anesthesiology pathway director and anesthesiology clerkship director for medical students. Dr. Malayaman also serves as a faculty mentor for resident advisees. She teaches daily and facilitates keyword sessions and case presentations about basic anesthesiology topics as well as advances in the field of anesthesiology.
Research Interest
"Dr. Malayaman is the principal investigator for a Drexel University College of Medicine PEG grant titled ""Effects of Carbon Monoxide Releasing Molecule-2 on Coagulation and Fibrinolysis Following Cardiopulmonary Bypass. Prior to coming to the College of Medicine, she was a clinical research assitant and study coordinator at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she participated in the Internet Treatment Registry for Acute coronary Syndromes (iTrACS) study."
