Biography
Dr. Ajit is an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Physiology at Drexel University College of Medicine. Completed PhD in Rutgers University. Dr. Ajit's research focus is to understand the molecular mechanisms of pain with emphasis on epigenetics. She is interested in pursuing various aspects of epigenetics, such as DNA methylation, histone modifications and small noncoding RNAs called microRNAs (miRNAs).
