Arnold L. Oronsky

Biography

 Dr. Arnold L. Oronsky has been a General Partner at InterWest Partners since 1994. Dr. Oronsky is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Medical School, and serves as a member of the board of directors of the publicly held life science companies Dynavax Technologies and TESARO, Inc. In addition, Dr. Oronsky serves on the board of directors of several privately held companies. Former positions include Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Head of Immunology at Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals and Vice President for Discovery Research for the Lederle Laboratories division of American Cyanamid Company where he directed the research on new drugs. Dr. Oronsky holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from Columbia University and has published over 125 scientific articles in scientific journals.
