Peter E. Loyka

Biography

Mr. Loyka joined Drum, Snell & Associates, LLC in June 2002 as a principal to the firm, bringing with him over 35 years of experience in the civil engineering and land development field. Mr. Loyka has served as an Engineering Department Head and Senior Project Manager with the firm of The Tech Group, Inc. and as Land Development Department Head and Project Engineer with the firm of Dewberry & Davis in Annapolis. He has extensive experience in all aspects of project management including project planning, client coordination, project expediting, and construction coordination. 

Research Interest

 Areas of expertise in civil engineering include hydrology and hydraulics, storm water management, highway design, utility design, and sediment control. Mr. Loyka is also proficient in all areas of land development planning and engineering, including both residential and commercial projects. Mr. Loyka is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland.
