Biography
Ph.D. University of Massachusetts M.B.A. University of New Hampshire B.A. Wells College In addition to teaching at EMU, Dr. Newell has taught at York University in Toronto and Bowling Green State University. Dr. Newell's work has been published in such journals as The Journal of Business Research, The Journal of Management History, and The Canadian Women's Studies Journal. She is a member of, and frequently presents papers at, both the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society.
Research Interest
Her research interests focus on top management teams, strategic decision-making, and human resources strategy.
