Biography
Alankrita Pandey received her PhD from the University of Texas at Arlington and has been working in Eastern Michigan University since 2013. Prior to coming to EMU, Dr. Pandey taught at the University of Texas at Arlington for a year. Dr. Pandey has also been involved in Downsizing research. She co-edited the Cambridge University Press book “Downsizing: Is Less still more?”. Her research has been published in the Journal of Management. Dr. Pandey has been teaching since 2007. She has taught courses in the Human Resource Management, Employee Benefits, Diagnostic Techniques and Research Methods, Surrent Issues in Human Resource Management, Principles of Management, and Organizational Behavior at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Research Interest
Dr. Pandey’s primary research is in the micro-foundations of Strategic Human Resource Management. She is focused on developing a role-based measure for the measurement of human capital. Her research has focused on the cross –level relationships between organizational policies, employee human capital, in-role and extra-role behaviors and role –relationships between employees and their peers.
