Dale A. Okuno

Biography

Mr. Dale A. Okuno serves as Secretary of Alliance College-Ready Public Schools. Mr. Okuno serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Coversant, Inc. He Co-founded Ebix CRM Division (formerly, E-Z Data, Inc.) in 1986, served as its President and Chief Executive Officer. He serves as Senior Vice President of EBIX, an international software company providing services to the insurance industry. He began his career as an agent with Transamerica Occidental Life in 1975. In an effort to increase his agency's marketing power and to streamline office operations, Mr. Okuno initiated the development of Client Data System, a practice management software solution specifically designed for life insurance agents, managers and investment advisors. In 1985, Mr. Okuno partnered with Dilip Sontakey. He later qualified for his production club and earned life membership in the Million Dollar Round Table. After seven years of selling, Mr. Okuno became a general agent and took over his father's agency in 1982. He has been a Director of Ubiquity, Inc. since March 2015. He serves as a Director of Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, Pacific Commerce Bancorp and Pacific Commerce Bank. He served as a Director at Proamérica Bank. He is a board member of the California Policy Center, a non-partisan, non-profit organization supporting public charter schools He is also Series 7 and 24 licensed and a Registered Investment Advisor.
