Biography
Amy is a senior global strategy and BD&L officer in the healthcare sector with an extensive transaction leadership background managing deals from inception through integration; including over 90 acquisitions, licensing, distribution deals, 35 divestitures, 20 equity investments, the industry's largest medical device spin and largest med-tech acquisition. She worked directly with Covidien's President and Board to make it the best performing large med tech company stock – doubling the Company's intrinsic value by focusing on restructuring the portfolio to deliver top line sustainable growth and enhanced margins. Amy was fully accountable for portfolio management, resource allocation and identification of new market opportunities, leveraging her deep institutional and device industry knowledge with experience in both developed and emerging markets, standard of care and early stage technologies.
