Rusty Pittman

Biography

 Rusty has more than 15 years of marketing and business development experience working in a diverse range of industries including specialty chemicals, oil and gas process and catalyst technologies, building materials, and renewable energy. As VP of Marketing and Business Development at Elevance, he actively works to promote Elevance products and technologies with a focus on securing collaborations with other specialty chemical companies to leverage the company’s unique bio-based, chemical building blocks. Prior to Elevance Rusty led marketing, product management and business development teams at James Hardie Building Products, BASF, UOP (a subsidiary of Honeywell) and SolarWorld. Rusty began his career in technology development where he led technical teams to development new process and catalyst technologies for the oil and gas industry at UOP. Rusty has an MBA from Kellogg Management School of Business, a M.S. in chemical engineering from Berkeley, and a B.S. in chemistry from New Mexico State University.
