Biography
Dr. Ellis graduated cum laude in 1986 from Wake Forest University with a BA in Chemistry. In 1991 she graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a M.Ed. in Physics, and with distinction in 1999 from the School of Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been practicing in Chapel Hill since 1999 and opened her own practice, Ellis Family Dentistry, in 2005. Dr. Ellis is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the Seattle Study Club. Dr Ellis is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Ellis is also an academy member of the cerecdoctors.com. She is currently serving as adjunctive faculty for the Dental Assisting Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the School of Dentistry. Dr. Ellis treats patients of all ages. She is married to husband Jerry and has two beautiful children, Jay and Alexis.
