Biography
Dr. Laura Davies-Ludlow Tawil is a Chapel Hill native; she was raised in the area and graduated from Chapel Hill High School. She graduated with honors in 2005 from the University of Michigan with a BS in Biopsychology and German. She received her DDS with honors from the University of North Carolina in 2009 & went on to complete a one-year General Practice Residency program at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. Tawil has multiple awards and publications through her research with dental radiographic dosage. She has a passion for esthetic dentistry, endodontics and oral surgery, but loves the diversity that general practice brings. Dr. Tawil is a member of the ADA, AGD, NC Dental Society and the Durham-Orange County Dental Association. She is also a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. She loves running, Michigan football and spending time with her daughter and husband, Peter Tawil, who is an endodontist in Chapel Hill.
