Biography
Amir founded ElMindA in 2006 following over 30 years of brain related research conducted as part of his academic and enterpreneurial career. He is a professor and the head of the Biomedical Laboratory of the Electrical, & Computer Engineering department at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) (1994-present). He is an experienced entrepreneur with a significant managerial track record. In 2000 Amir founded Widemed (publicly traded on Tel Aviv Stock Exchange: TAS) and served as the company’s CEO and President until 2005. He is an accomplished scientist, with years of brain and EEG research and experience starting in the reserch unit of the Israeli Navy (1981-1986), the Technion Institute of Technology (1987-1994), and BGU (1994-Present) with extesive accademic research.
